Rockin' RK Ranch

Rockin' RK Ranch offers a variety of boarding and training options for your convenience. 

• Barn with twelve 12x12 Preifert stalls with rubber mats, bedded with pine shavings, cleaned daily.
• Dual indoor wash racks with hot and cold water.
• 150x200 lighted outdoor arena with sand footing.
• Located within 15 minutes of the Virginia Creeper Trail.
• 180x130 lighted covered arena with sand footing.
• Additional acreage for riding.

We live on the farm and horses are checked on many times throughout the day. We have a vet and farrier that both visit regularly and would be happy to accomodate any needs you may have.

Full Board - Includes stall, with bedding, cleaned daily, hay and grain fed twice daily, watered twice daily. $300 per month.

Pasture Board/Grass and Hay only - $175 per month.

Pasture Board/Grain twice daily and Hay provided - $200 per month.

We also offer training, from starting colts, working with problem horses, to specialized training in a variety of disciplines. Ryan is always happy to provide references from his many satisfied customers. He has many years of experience in a variety of disciplines, including working with cutting horse trainer Tracy T. Barton, winner of over $1 million in NCHA events, cutting horse trainer Tracy Surles, winner of over $800K in NCHA events, and Rich Timmons, trainer of cutting, reining, and working cowhorses. He also worked in AZ training Arabians for Halter, Western Pleasure, English, and Reining. He has studied Parelli horsemanship and uses only humane methods in all training. Horses are ridden at least five days per week and you are welcome to visit anytime to check your horses progress.

Training board - Includes training, stall with bedding, cleaned daily, turnout time, hay and grain fed twice daily, watered twice daily. $400 per month.

We can provide horse transport, if you need a horse picked up or dropped off, we can do that for a small additional fee, depending on how far away you are, and will do long distance hauling as well. Contact us for more details.  

We also offer marketing and/or sales prep, if you have a horse you want to sell or have taken to auction, we can help. We will advertise for you, locally and online, take pictures, make videos, handle phone calls, emails, showings, vet checks, etc. If you want to get your horse fat, slick, and in sale shape, we can do that as well, and can also haul to an auction, show, and act as your agent at the sale. All horses coming onto the property must be in good health and have a negative coggins dated within one year. Owner must sign a boarding and/or training contract and anyone riding on the property must sign a liability waiver. Boarding or training fee must be paid when the horse is dropped off and then again at the beginning of each 30 day period, unless other arrangements are made. If you have a horse you want trained and need to pay weekly or bi monthly, we can usually do that, just give us a call and we'll be happy to work with you any way we can.
